  8. Founder of the Clinical Linguistics postgraduate program, the first program of its kind in Malaysia and South East Asia region, which had its first intake in 2007 at Faculty of Health Science, UKM.
  9. Authored and commercialized a product - the first standardized local test. (2018)- the Alat Ujian Bahasa Kanak-Kanak Melayu/Malay Preschool Language Assessment Tool (MPLAT) in Malaysia which is  used to screen and diagnose children at risk of language delay/disorders.

  • 2012-2013. Advisor to the Project  ‘Masih Ada Yang Sayang (MAYS) –  a  yearly project in which undergraduate students Health Science Student Association, FSK, UKM organize community projects such visits to the orphanages.
  • Nov 2008-Jan 2009. Charity Seminar for ‘Save Adik Nabila Fund’- a seminar organized to collect funds for a 12 year old girl who has  ‘complex cyanotic congenital heart disease secondary to Down Syndrome’ organized by SMI Sdn Bhd 17th January 2009  at the Wisma MCA, Kuala Lumpur.  Collected fund was: RM45,000.
