UCSI University in collaboration with Sarawak Children Cancer Society (SCCS) is organizing the UCSI International Cuisine Charity Dinner 2014

KUCHING: UCSI University in collaboration with Sarawak Children Cancer Society (SCCS) is enthusiastic in responding to the growing concern of social responsibility by creating awareness to the public for children suffering from cancer. UCSI International Cuisine Charity Dinner 2014 is organized by the students from Diploma in Hotel Management and Diploma in Culinary Arts of UCSI University, Sarawak Campus. The event will be held on the 29th March 2014, Saturday at The Quad Restaurant of UCSI University Sarawak Campus from 6.30pm to 10.00pm. The objectives for this event is to create awareness on the different cuisines from various part of the nations, to provide fund raising opportunity for SCCS, and to provide a channel to sponsors and suppliers to promote their services and products to the public. 

Variety of activities and entertainment will be lining up to appeal to the diverse segments of crowd that visit. Various international cuisines will be prepared and served by our very own Culinary Arts students and also sponsored by the few popular local restaurants and cafes. Moreover, a channel of fun and exciting games are waiting for guests to participate as well as lucky draws session. Besides that, we have entertaining performances by our very own students and also invited performers. On top of that, the organizing committee encourage the public to pledge themselves as a volunteer for the SCCS. 

With the aim of creating public’s awareness towards the selected society, the organizing committee hopes that the event could also help to raise fund for the Sarawak Children Cancer Society, which part of the event’s profit will be donated to SCCS as to finance their daily operation.
