Title: Polymorphism and Metoprolol metabolism: A Study in Indonesian Population

Genetic variations within the cytochrome P450 (CYP450) superfamily is an important contributor to interindividual variation in drug disposition and response and is associated with significant clinical consequences. The genotyping or phenotyping relevant drug-metabolizing enzymes may help to explain the observed inter-individual variability. This helps in the prevention of various adverse drug reaction and better clinical outcomes.
