Congratulations to Associate Professor Ts Dr Cheah Shiau Chuen, Head of Praxis, Industry and Community Engagement for being awarded the Professional Technologist recognition by the Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT) on 26 April 2022. 

SUCCESSFULLY PUBLISHED AN IMPACTFUL ARTICLE

This research article examined genomic relationships between Pneumococcal outbreak strains and, by including additional international isolates of ST801 and related sequence types, to provide a phylogeographical and temporal context for the outbreaks.

TOP CITED PAPER 2020-2021

His paper titled “Classification and Characteristics of Periorbital Hyperpigmentation” was recognised as the Top Cited Paper 2020-2021 in Skin Research and Technology by Wiley.
