Congratulations to Tong Chu Wah and Pon Guan Yu for winning the 1st and 2nd Prize in the 5th Intervarsity Parasitology Quiz & Oratorical Competition on 17 September 2022. A total of 18 universities in Asia (including Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines) participated in this competition organised by the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya.

Congratulations to Fiona Ho Jing Min, Ngu Hui Ling, and Clarice Siow Jing Rou on being selected by Harvard University for a year-long high impact research programme at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the United States under UCSI's Star Trek Programme - an initiative that sees the world’s best universities selecting UCSI students for high-impact research.

Congratulations Emerine Soh Jing Wei for winning the 1st Prize in Oratorial Competition at the 4th Intervarsity Parasitological 2021 on 19 November 2021.

A total of 15 universities in Asia participated in this competition organised by University Malaya, Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine.

Achiever of Academic Excellence and Scholarship Award by UCSI University Trust. She has been appointed as the head of human resources department of MindFlu, a youth initiative from UCSI University in advocating mental well-being and social inclusion.

MindFlu was selected as one of the best three in the Project for Happiness by the Khind Starfish Foundation for the second year in a row. She works hand in hand with the refractive surgeon and plays a role in refractive surgery co-management.
