Biography

Dr. Naveed earned his PhD in 2014 with a special focus on Human Resources Management from University Pendidikan Sultan Idris, a public sector university in Malaysia. Later, he was selected for a post-doctoral fellowship during 2015-16.

He has been teaching for the last 14 years in higher education institutions. Throughout his career, he has taught graduate and post-graduate levels, both qualification and non-qualification bearing programs, including thesis supervision. He has worked more on specialist subjects, most notably Seminars in Human Resource Management at the PhD level, Strategic Human Resource Management and Business Research Methods at the Master's Level, and Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Bachelor's level.

The main themes of his research interest, largely reflected in publications have been Human Resource Management, Sustainability, SME Competitiveness, Human Capital, Employee well-being, Sustainable HRM, Green HR Practices, Workplace Innovation Behavior, Firm Environmental Performance, and Gender in Management.

He has published several papers in WOS, Scopus, ABDC and ABS indexed journals and presented research papers in international conferences in UK, Sweden, Malaysia and Indonesia. He has also contributed book chapters, published by McGraw Hills and Springer. He has been serving as an editorial board member of reputed research journals, indexed by Clarivate Index and Scopus. He has supervised to completion five PhD scholars in the area of HRM.
