“The good thing about DBA offered by UCSI University is that we get to learn from experienced lecturers who are experts in the industry and academics. We always have a class where we debate and ‘argue’ to help us understand a situation,” he said.
“We also learned about research, leadership, global movement corporate strategy and everything that you need to become a chief executive officer or managing director as well as to enhance yourself in a great career in the future. It helped us to understand more about how the world has become,” he added.
Dr Khairil worked as an engineer in Japan for two years after he graduated before coming back to Malaysia to work in the same industry for another decade. In 2008, he finally joined MIROS.
As a product of DBA, he highly encouraged Master students to further their studies to the DBA level.
