UCSI University’s Marketing Student Association (MaSA) organised a visit to Deloitte Malaysia

Ms Nazliwati representing UCSI University and MaSA presented a token of appreciation to Mr Nizar and Deloitte’s Human Resources department in appreciation of their hospitality to the visiting students.

The trip ended with a photo session at the Company’s lobby area before the students return their access card at the reception.

On 25 June 2014, the UCSI University’s Marketing Student Association (MaSA) organised a visit to Deloitte Malaysia, one of the Big Four professional firms in the world of auditing, consulting, tax, risk management and financial advisory. The Company’s office is located at Menara LGB, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. 

Students were provided with access cards after registration which was assisted by Deloitte staff upon arrival. They were then led into one of Deloitte office’s meeting room located on the 15th floor. 

Goodie bags were waiting for the students as they come into the meeting room where Mr Nizar Najib, one of Deloitte’s staff did a presentation about the Company. After the presentation, there was a Q&A session where students got to know more information about the Company and on career opportunities and job placement opportunities within the Company. 

During session break, Deloitte served students with refreshments and some of the staff was also there to mingle with the students. 

Students were then divided into three groups for the office tour. They were also invited to participate in the Malaysia’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers survey and was presented with a copy of 2013/2014 6th Edition Top 100 Leading Graduate Employers. 

At the end of the presentation, Ms Nazliwati representing UCSI University and MaSA presented a token of appreciation to Mr Nizar and Deloitte’s Human Resources department in appreciation of their hospitality to the visiting students.

This visit that was successfully organised by MaSA has created a golden opportunity for its participants to take a closer look at one of the largest professional firms in the world.
