Logistics Student Association Welcomes New Batch Of Students


The Logistics Student Association (LSA) of UCSI University welcomed the new batch of students from the logistics and supply chain background. The half day event was filled with many activities to boost up the confidence level and team building spirit among the new and senior students.

The event officially started with the welcoming speech from Head of Department, Assistant Professor Siti Norida Wahab.  In her speech, she shared on the future career prospects of logistics and supply chain students.

Apart from that, lecturer Bahri Mahmud was invited to share his experiences as a club advisor for several years.  He highlighted many past events and suggested future events to be conducted by LSA for the benefit of the students.

The event started off with ice breaking activities and continued with various team building activities. The main purpose of the team building activities was to build up the confidence level of students, their survival skills and their team spirit.

The event highlighted critical creative thinking skills where students had to build the tallest building using the materials provided to them.

The last speech of the day was given by the newly appointed club advisor Assistant Professor Dr Rohana Sham. She welcomed new students and current students who attended the event and expressed her gratitude to all the members of LSA and the committee who have been supporting the club’s events throughout the year.

The session ended with a token of appreciation given to Bahri for his contribution as advisor of the Logistics Student Association and a prize giving ceremony for the winners.
