We are pleased to share the momentous occasion of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between UCSI and Hanbat National University, South Korea. This significant event was graced by the esteemed presence of the President of Hanbat National University along with our very own Deputy-Vice Chancellor. This agreement not only marks a new dawn for both institutions but also paves the way for a great partnership between these two acclaimed universities. 

We are delighted to announce the momentous occasion of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between UCSI and Suzhou Centennial College, China. This historic event not only symbolises a major achievement for UCSI but also paves the way for the establishment of our very own UCSI University in Suzhou Industrial Park, China.
 
This agreement signifies a new and exciting chapter for both institutions, presenting a future filled with possibilities. It creates a newfound opportunity for international students to undertake an enriching educational journey, allowing them to explore and immerse themselves in diverse cultures different from their own. As we come together to mark this significant milestone, we look forward to strengthening cross-cultural understanding and academic excellence in this dynamic international setting.

More than 100 staff and students of UCSI University and UCSI College united to collect uncleared rubbish around the campuses and the Mangrove Point in Port Klang. A real meaningful and enjoyable Malaysia Day for them, as they also manifest the passion for environment sustainability and inculcating good waste disposal habits.

UCSI University’s School of Optometry organised a vision screening event at SJKC Desa Jaya 2 on the 14th of September 2023. The event aims to raise awareness of ocular health among primary school students and to educate students about maintaining proper visual hygiene.
A total of 36 students and lecturers from UCSI University's Optometry Department conducted vision tests for the students of SJKC Desa Jaya 2. The tests included examinations for near vision, distance vision, eye muscle alignment, and colour vision. In total, 323 teachers and Standard 3 students participated in this event.
 

Through mutual sharing of knowledge and expertise between the two institutes, this collaboration helps in complementing each other’s research requirements and identifying their strengths.

Tan Sri Omar Centre for STI Policy Studies successfully hosted its next ‘Eminent Person Lecture Series’ that invited Dr Lim Teck Ghee to share the influence of his work on Malaysia’s socio-economic landscape and history education.

Dr Lim Teck Ghee, a renowned Malaysian economic historian, author, and public intellectual, provided an invaluable opportunity for attendees to gain profound insights from his wealth of knowledge and experiences.

Foreign Minister Datuk Zambry Abdul Kadir has officially inaugurated UCSI University’s Institute of Science Diplomacy and Sustainability. Led by Tan Sri Zakri Abdul Hamid, this innovative Institute is set to bridge the gap between the scientific community and policymakers in ASEAN and beyond.

The talk focused on the significant contributions of Lim Teck Ghee, a renowned Malaysian economic historian, author, and public intellectual, including an engaging dialogue session with the audience who came from various backgrounds including NGOs and former ministers to discuss the importance of scholarship and activism.

 Honored to host former 9th Prime Minister, YB Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob, for an international symposium on the Malay language's aspirations at Le Quadri Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. From poetry readings by diverse nationalities to captivating traditional dances celebrating Malaysia's rich heritage, it was a night of unity and artistry.
