The 36th Convocation Ceremony of UCSI University is a momentous event celebrating the academic achievements and hard work of its graduating Class of 2023.
The Centre of Excellence for Research, Value Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CERVIE) organised an impactful sharing session on the electrical and optical properties of graphene. Delivered by Professor Long Ju, Assistant Professor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Physics Department, the event saw an engaging discussion and sharing of insights about research works. It provided a great opportunity for others to learn about the latest research techniques and strategies for progressing towards success.
UCSI University is proud to announce the launch of new education programmes under the esteemed Institute of Computer Science and Digital Innovation (ICSDI). The three new programmes namely Master of Science in Digital Technology and Analytics, Bachelor of Computer Science in Cyber Security (Honours) and Bachelor of Computer Science in Artificial Intelligence (Honours), are set to cater to the needs of the business world as they embrace science, technology and innovation today.

On 29 July 2023, a group of UCSI graduands from the batch of 2023 attended the highly anticipated UCSI Graduand Appreciation Ceremony, thoughtfully organised by the Student Affairs and Alumni. The event brought together outstanding individuals who have shown remarkable dedication and commitment throughout their academic journey.

UCSI University inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD) Malaysia Berhad to offer short courses in key Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) topics.

But the real magic happened with the enchanting tunes of Soft Soft Pillow, making the night truly unforgettable! And not forgetting the epic water games that kept everyone splashing and laughing all night long!
The Environmental and Social Responsibilities (ESR) Office of Youth Beyond Boundaries (YBB) UCSI recently organised the much-anticipated "Terrafix: Zero Waste Festival." The event, held at UCSI's campus, was aimed at raising awareness of zero waste practices among UCSI students and educating them on practical ways to reduce waste. The festival's main objectives were to inspire sustainable habits and encourage participants to take action towards waste reduction.
The festival's highlight was the Zero Waste Bazaar, which featured an impressive array of vendors promoting zero waste products. Additionally, the festival hosted two informative talks and workshops, providing students with practical knowledge and insights on waste reduction practices.
The Plastic Waste Workshop focused on educating participants about the impact of plastic waste and provided insights on adopting a zero-waste lifestyle. During this workshop, participants learned how to repurpose used coffee sachets into coasters.
The Used Cooking Oil (UCO) Workshop addressed the importance of managing used cooking oil and its potential transformation into biodiesel and candles. Participants had the opportunity to engage in candle making with UCO.
About 30 companies were present at UCSI Career and Co-Op Placement Fair offering over 700 internships and 1300 full-time positions to our UCSI University students. The hiring teams were from Maybank, Malaysia Aviation Group, Tune Protect, Alliance Bank, J&T Express, Huawei Technologies, Yamaha Music, RHB Bank, ExxonMobil, Public Bank, amongst others.
