UCSI launches its Harmoni Mesra book to promote inclusivity and harmony on campuses


UCSI University launched its Harmoni Mesra Campus initiative in October 2022, and the launch of its book made the university stands out as a Harmoni Mesra campus.

KUALA LUMPUR – YAM Tunku Zain Al-‘Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, Pro-Chancellor of UCSI University launched Harmoni Mesra Campus Programme for Malaysia at UCSI University Kuala Lumpur Campus.

 

Aimed at fostering harmony, unity and empathy, the book is anchored on the fifth principle of the Rukun Negara that emphasises warmth and empathy.

 

Tunku Zain is glad to see how harmony always shines through in all initiatives established by UCSI.

 

“This book provides examples of how to build a brighter future for future generations,” he said in his speech.

 

“It shows the university’s continued efforts to foster Harmoni Mesra society within the campus and with the communities outside the campus.”

 

“Students from more than 130 nations study at UCSI. The campus is a melting pot of culture and ideas, making Harmoni Mesra all the more relevant.”

 

He also praised UCSI leaders, management and students for their continued success in championing community engagement initiatives.
