KUALA LUMPUR – UCSI University has been selected as one of the 130 global campuses of University of Arizona for students to pursue their academic journey at the US-based university without having to leave Malaysia.

Students who have received their admission to University of Arizona may choose to live and study at UCSI through this partnership.

This would enable students the opportunity to enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities at the nation’s best private university, according to the QS World University Rankings, while experiencing the unique campus life here.    

At UCSI, students can take a mix of University of Arizona courses online and partner courses in person. Students who choose on-campus classes will have access to in-person academic support, access to partner school computer labs, study areas, libraries, recreational facilities, clubs and student activities.

Presently, University of Arizona’s global campuses are available in 130 locations, across 43 countries. It offers 10 customised degree paths to more than 200 undergraduate majors.

In Malaysia, UCSI University and UCSI College are the only two partners of University of Arizona.

While the global campus expansion was intensified during the current pandemic where international travels are restricted and moratoriums are imposed on visas, students, however, are in the receiving end as they are estimated to save up to over 50% in tuition fees and living expenses from studying at UCSI.

The global campus is a long-term effort towards meeting the United Nations’ sustainable development goal (UN SDGs) of providing accessible quality education to the world.
