UCSI continues to engage with practitioners and thinkers to promote awareness and understanding of sustainability. The conference served as a platform to raise public awareness on the latest challenges and trends in sustainability and spur academic research on sustainability and SDG-related activity. Besides the presentations on various aspects and experiences in SDGs, the audience was given a glimpse of what ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) is all about and why the industries out there are vying for its compliance. The speakers and panellists such as acclaimed scientists, sustainability experts, activists, and farm owners, had given everyone diverse areas on how SDGs and ESGs can be impacted. With UCSI’s strong commitment to sustainability, we expect to see more SDG- and ESG-related initiatives coming our way.
