Kok Ee Yin |  Bachelor of Science (Honours) Nutrition with WellnessCongratulations to Kok Ee Yin, a student under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr Satvinder Kaur, on winning the third prize in the national level 3-MINUTE RESEARCH & INNOVATION COMPETITION (3-MRI) 2020. She managed to explain her research in an engaging and concise manner within 3 minutes in video titled “The Association of Light Exposure with Psychosocial Factors among Pregnant Women” under the Undergraduate category. The competition was organised by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNiSZA).

She managed to explain her research in an engaging and concise manner within 3 minutes in video titled “Circadian Rhythm - The Clock Linking Maternal Health to Infant Growth”. The competition was organised by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNiSZA).

FAS BIOTECHNOLOGY STUDENT WINS BEST POSTER PRIZE AT THE 30TH INTERVARSITY BIOCHEMISTRY SEMINAR.

Ong Teik Siun and Cheong Hui Ann |  BSc (Hons) Food Science with NutritionWinning 2nd place in the Intervarsity Palm Oil Quiz Competition organised by Malaysia Palm Oil Council (MPOC). It was held on 18th April 2019 during CEO Day at UPM in conjunction with Love MY Palm Oil Campaign. The campaign was launched by Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir.
FAS POSTGRADUATE STUDENT BAGS AWARD AT MIFT'S 11TH NATIONAL FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION.
Jenny Foo |  PostgraduateWon 2nd runner up award in the Postgraduate Oral competition, while the JUJUBEST team won the 2nd runner up award in the Innovative Food Product Development competition. It was held at UTAR, Kampar (6-7 April 2019).

NG CHOON MING GOT TRAVEL GRANT FROM INDIA
Ng Choon MingNg Choon Ming, a PhD candidate, received a travel grant award for the recent Second International National Institute of Nutrition Centenary Conference in Hyderabad, India. She was among the top 3 out of the total 30 abstracts received for this award. She presented her idea on improving healthy diets in the Young Person Unique Idea category.
