The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences held a team-building exercise to boost the morale and efficiency of its staff and faculty members. The exercise, which involved various activities and games, aimed to foster collaboration and communication among the participants. The exercise was facilitated by a professional trainer from the Consulting Unit of the university.
UCSI University and Health Lane Family Pharmacy have signed MoA to collaborate on academic and professional development initiatives. The MoA aims to provide students with various opportunities to enhance their learning experience and career prospects through attachments and visitations.

The challenge, supported by the Ministry of Education, aimed to make STEM fun and accessible for young learners. The ceremony, awarded prizes to the top entries, selected by a panel of judges.
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated World Pharmacists Day with a ceremony to honour the achievements of its students and faculty members. The event, which coincided with the global theme of “Pharmacists strengthening health systems”, recognized the vital roles that pharmacists play in improving public health and advancing medical science. In the conjunction with the celebration, fifteen students received The Book Prize Award for their academic excellence, sponsored by eight renowned industry partners (Viatris, Eldon Healthcare, Big Pharmacy, EP Plus Group Sdn Bhd, Xepa-Soul Pattison, Caring Pharmacy PharmD Sdn Bhd and Medispec Sdn Bhd).
UCSI University and Malaysian Nuclear Agency have signed a MoU to collaborate on academic and professional activities in the fields of nuclear science and technology. The MoU, aims to promote joint research projects and publications, as well as to provide students with opportunities for internship and research activities.
Following the tremendous success of IRCPAS in 2020, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences hosted the second conference, which focused on the theme "21st Century Frontiers: Paradigm Shift in Research and Innovation." The purpose of the conference was to provide a forum for the exchange and updating of knowledge in pharmaceutical and health sciences research and innovation.
World Pharmacists Day is celebrated to appreciate pharmacists around the world and to advocate the various roles pharmacists play in improving public health in the medical field. This event was organised by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In the conjunction with the celebration, twelve of the students have been selected for their excellency in academics and awarded The Book Prize Award by five renowned industry partners (Big Pharmacy, EP Plus Group Sdn Bhd, Xepa-Soul Pattison, Caring Pharmacy and Medispec Sdn Bhd).
To improve the productivity and motivation of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the department organised a team-building exercise. Team building teaches people to work together to increase productivity.
UCSI University partnered with the Education Ministry to organise a science challenge that required contestants to devise scientific innovations to solve real-world problems. Christened the Student Life Hacks TikTok Innovation Challenge, the competition also required secondary school students to upload a portrait-mode video of their innovations, explaining their game-changing potential. The objective: To make STEM fun.
The MoU between UCSI and DPSRU focuses on co-organising conferences, symposia, conducting joint research projects and publications in fields of mutual interest as well as facilitating and encouraging the exchange of students through research attachments, summer programmes and visitations between the parties.
