SILVER MEDALIST OF THE 31ST INTERNATIONAL INVENTION, INNOVATION, AND TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION MALAYSIA

Won the silver medal award for their product entry at the 31st International Invention, Innovation, and Technology 2020. Their product, TomaClear, is an anti-pigmentation cream which incorporates tomato seeds.

And his team won the silver medal award for their product entry at the 31st International Invention, Innovation, and Technology 2020. Their product is Kollicoat MAE 100P Coated Capsules to Deliver the Cyclodextrin-Everolimus Inclusive Complex to Treat Colorectal Cancer.

RECIPIENT OF THE VENUS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN AWARDS 2021

Prof Dr Mogana was awarded the prestigious Venus International Women Award (VIWA) for her various achievements in the field of Pharmacy. Additionally, she was recognised as an Outstanding Woman Researcher by (VIWA).

BEST POSTER AWARD AT INTERNATIONAL E-CONFERENCE

MALAYSIA TECHNOLOGY EXPO (MTE) INNOVATION AWARD 2020

Received this award at The 19^th Malaysia International Expo on Invention and Innovations (MTE) 2020 which was held from 20^th – 22^nd of February 2020. She  exhibited the innovation called ‘Cocoa Butter: A Healthier Alternative to Fast Melt Tablets’.

GOLD MEDAL AWARD FOR BADMINTON WOMEN'S DOUBLES AT NPSC 2020

from faculty of pharmaceutical sciences won the Gold medal for badminton women's doubles at National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) 2020.

BEST POSTER PRESENTER AWARD AT IRCPAS 2020

Won the Best Poster Presenter award at International Research Conference on Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences IRCPAS 2020 organised by Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UCSI University held between 7-8 March 2020.

SUCCESSFULLY PUBLISHED AN IMPACTFUL ARTICLE

Assistant Professor Dr Omotayo Fatokun from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences has successfully published an impactful article in the Bulletin of the World Health Organization.

The academic journal ranks as Q1 in Journal Percentile Ranking (Top 10% journal) in the field of Public, Enviromental and Occupational Health with an impact factor of 6.818 (2018), according to the ISI Web of Science ranking by Clarivate Analytics.

The article titled "Fostering local production of essential medicines in Nigeria" explains how regulatory changes are designed to increase local production of essential medicines in Nigeria, thus ensuring predictable and sustainable access to affordable and quality-assured essential medicines and strengthening the domestic pharmaceutical industry.
