We are delighted to announce the momentous occasion of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between UCSI and Suzhou Centennial College, China. This historic event not only symbolises a major achievement for UCSI but also paves the way for the establishment of our very own UCSI University in Suzhou Industrial Park, China.
This agreement signifies a new and exciting chapter for both institutions, presenting a future filled with possibilities. It creates a newfound opportunity for international students to undertake an enriching educational journey, allowing them to explore and immerse themselves in diverse cultures different from their own. As we come together to mark this significant milestone, we look forward to strengthening cross-cultural understanding and academic excellence in this dynamic international setting.
More than 100 staff and students of UCSI University and UCSI College united to collect uncleared rubbish around the campuses and the Mangrove Point in Port Klang. A real meaningful and enjoyable Malaysia Day for them, as they also manifest the passion for environment sustainability and inculcating good waste disposal habits.
UCSI University’s School of Optometry organised a vision screening event at SJKC Desa Jaya 2 on the 14th of September 2023. The event aims to raise awareness of ocular health among primary school students and to educate students about maintaining proper visual hygiene.
A total of 36 students and lecturers from UCSI University's Optometry Department conducted vision tests for the students of SJKC Desa Jaya 2. The tests included examinations for near vision, distance vision, eye muscle alignment, and colour vision. In total, 323 teachers and Standard 3 students participated in this event.
UCSI University celebrated the winners of the Student Life Hacks TikTok Innovation Challenge, a science competition that encouraged secondary school students to create and showcase their own scientific solutions for real-world issues. The challenge, supported by the Ministry of Education, aimed to make STEM fun and accessible for young learners. The ceremony, awarded prizes to the top entries, selected by a panel of judges.
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated World Pharmacists Day with a ceremony to honour the achievements of its students and faculty members. The event, which coincided with the global theme of “Pharmacists strengthening health systems”, recognized the vital roles that pharmacists play in improving public health and advancing medical science. In the conjunction with the celebration, fifteen students received The Book Prize Award for their academic excellence, sponsored by eight renowned industry partners (Viatris, Eldon Healthcare, Big Pharmacy, EP Plus Group Sdn Bhd, Xepa-Soul Pattison, Caring Pharmacy PharmD Sdn Bhd and Medispec Sdn Bhd).

Dr Lim Teck Ghee, a renowned Malaysian economic historian, author, and public intellectual, provided an invaluable opportunity for attendees to gain profound insights from his wealth of knowledge and experiences.
UCSI University and Malaysian Nuclear Agency have signed a MoU to collaborate on academic and professional activities in the fields of nuclear science and technology. The MoU, aims to promote joint research projects and publications, as well as to provide students with opportunities for internship and research activities.
