Teoh Ai Ni |  Doctor of Philosophy (Science)Congratulations to Teoh Ai Ni, a PhD Candidate under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr Satvinder Kaur, on winning the consolation prize in the national level 3-MINUTE RESEARCH & INNOVATION COMPETITION (3-MRI) 2020 under the Postgraduate category. She managed to explain her research in an engaging and concise manner within 3 minutes in video titled “Circadian Rhythm - The Clock Linking Maternal Health to Infant Growth”. The competition was organised by Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNiSZA).

THEIR PROJECT RECEIVES A GRANT OF RM250,000 BY THE MALAYSIA RESEARCH UNIVERSITY NETWORK (MRUN)
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR LIONEL IN LIAN AUN and ASSISTANT PROFESSOR DR OH SIEW PEICongratulations to Associate Professor Dr Lionel In Lian Aun (Faculty Of Applied Sciences) and Assistant Professor Dr Oh Siew Pei (Faculty of Social Sciences and Liberal Arts) for receiving a grant of RM250,000 By the Malaysia Research University Network (MRUN) through the Young Researchers Grant Scheme (MY-RGS). Their project was titled ‘A dual-pronged approach to increase production of farmed tilapia using lactococcal-based vaccination and enzybiotic’. A total of 6 research projects were selected from a grand total of 238 applications amounting to RM1.5million.

The winning product was "Kenaf Sunscreen Cream SPF 50+".

Previously, Dr Nyam Kar Lin was ranked 5211 (November 2018) and has jumped 1535 spots to 3635 (June 2019), firmly placing her in top 1% in the list.
The placement was based on the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) - an analytical tool that identifies top-performing research and the impact of publications in the Web of Science Core Collection.
